Founded in August 2015 by Mangesh and Shridevi Gavankar, Indian Express was born from a bold life change. After years of living in Dubai, the couple chose to leave behind the fast pace and pressures of everyday life to settle in Georgia and pursue a shared dream: creating a restaurant rooted in their love for authentic, home-style Indian cooking. At the heart of Indian Express is Shridevi, our head chef, whose background in Nutrition brings a thoughtful balance to every dish. Her recipes are inspired by traditional Indian kitchens—crafted with care, rich in flavor, and grounded in wholesome ingredients.
